Kirby's Adventures was one of those games that came out a little too late. But though it was one of the last games released for the NES, it is also acclaimed, by many, to be one of the best games on the system.

The main appeal of this game, and of Kirby in general, is his ability to steal everyone else's ability. Kirby can use a sword, turn into a fireball, shoot lasers, and perform many other abilities easily. All he has to do is inhale and swallow an enemy, and Kirby will take over the ability of the devoured enemy. This, as well as the many secrets to discover, made Kirby's Adventure an immediate hit.
