Tecmo Bowl

Year: 1989
Developer: Tecmo
Publisher: Tecmo
Players: 1 to 2

Though not the best in the line of NES football games, Tecmo Bowl has proven itself to be one of the better of the bunch. Despite its very limited choice of teams and its so-so selection of music, the gameplay is pretty solid, albeit perhaps a little too fast-paced. One complaint I must make known, though, is the fact that interceptions occur far too easily. If I had a dollar for every time one of my passes was intercepted whilst getting you the screenshots below, I could go buy myself lunch and dinner for the day. Regardless, the game is pretty good, a nice way to start a series.
