By smb3fanatic Well, could there be a better game? Super Mario Bros. 3 was one of the best ever made. It was released later than expected so that the engineers could get every last and every possible detail into the game. It consists of 8 worlds, 10 or so levels each, and many powers that Mario can have. Mario can be transformed into many different things. Super Mario, Raccoon Mario, Firey Mario, Tanooki Mario, Hammer Mario, and Frog Mario. Each gives him certain powers. Mario travels through 8 different worlds; Grass Land, Koopahari Desert, Water World, Land of the Giants, Sky World, Winter Wonderland, Pipe Maze, and the Castle of Koopa. Each world consists of levels with different challenges, bonus levels, and a castle that contains an airship guarded by one of Bowser's sons that stole the wand from each of the kings of the Mushroom World. After he defeats the Airship, the wand is returned, Mario gets a bonus from the Princess, and is promoted to the next world. This game is much more technically advanced then any NES game. This game has more advanced scenery, a progress map for each world, and more powers for Mario. This game far exceeds the NES era. Therefore, its gameplay, graphics, and sound are the best of any NES game you'll find. My Score: 10/10 |
